HYBRIS is inherently airtight, effectively preventing air infiltration from the outside and minimizing heat loss through convection from the inside.

Vapour Barrier

The external copper-colored layer of HYBRIS serves as a certified vapor control layer, with a high vapor resistance (Sd > 90m, Z = 450 MNs/g). It is inherently resistant to vapor, providing enhanced protection.

Acoustic Performance

HYBRIS demonstrates excellent resistance to air infiltration, making it highly effective in controlling noise and providing sound insulation. For instance, the installation of 125mm Hybris in a masonry wall can achieve an impressive sound insulation rating of Rw (C; Ctr) >= 67.7 (-2; -4) dB.

HYBRIS achieves its remarkable thermal efficiency through a specialised structure comprising numerous low emissivity cavities. These cavities are effectively shielded from dust and excessive air movement, while the low emissivity external films contribute to additional thermal resistance when combined with the air cavities.

HYBRIS is classified A+ for internal air quality according to ISO 16000 and is clean to use so doesn’t generate dust or fibre while cutting or installing.
